The psychedelic whoosh on the classic records took two tape machines physically drifting through each other. ZEROPOINT puts that whole rig in your DAW — the machine, the delay that shoves it off course, and the servo that fights to pull it back.

A real machine, not a delay

Inside is a fully simulated tape machine — motor, tape, and all. Every part of it modeled from real physics, calibrated with real tape data.

Push it and it pushes back

Lean on the sweep and the servo chases you — the capstan overshoots, loses lock, and runs away, exactly like two-inch tape under a hand pushing too hard.

The whoosh you can’t fake

The sweep travels all the way through zero: both copies line up perfectly, the sound folds into itself and vanishes, then blooms back from the top. A normal flanger’s delay can’t go negative — it can never get there.

Two-machine mode

Put the dry side on a second locked machine so both copies carry the tape’s color — the deepest, heaviest version of the classic sound.
